We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Grain Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Grain Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for working proactively across the wider organisation incorporating production, commodity marketing and execution through the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
• Contract execution, transfers and allocation
• Plan and manage contract deliveries, reconcile deliveries, freight invoicing and movements
• Implementation and management of companywide inventory procedures and controls
• Manage national storage plan in line with company strategy
• Weekly and monthly grain inventory reconciliation
• Actively contribute to the marketing strategy, through participation in meetings and assisting with strategy execution
• Manage and report grain position, weekly cashflow and credit exposure
• Implement market to market reporting (monthly)
• Communicate company strategy and provide market updates to internal stakeholder

Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong understanding of logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, and supply chain management
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers
• Coordinate with the Workshop around maintenance issues of equipment
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
• An understanding of NHVR & PBS requirements and routes
• Analyse logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Manage logistics budgets and expenses
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Assistant Farm Manager
We are excited to invite applications for the permanent position of Assistant Farm Manager at our Kealandi aggregation, located near Moree, NSW.
Assist the Farm Manager with daily operations of a large broad acre cropping aggregation.

• HC-MC drivers licence highly regarded.
• Current chemical accreditation essential.
• Current First Aid Certificate highly regarded.

Lawson Logistics operate Bulk Tippers from silos and farms delivering to the Export and Domestic Markets across the Eastern Seaboard and we have two exciting opportunities to join the team as a full time MC Driver to work from our Rand or Forbes location to support our current demand and upcoming expansion.
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced MC tipper drivers. Tipper experience is preferable however not required as training will be provided.
About you:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience MC endorsed.
• Ability to complete paperwork in an orderly manner.
• A safe driving records with a mature attitude.
• Be well presented, punctual, and flexible to changing work requirements.
• The ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised.

Assist the Assistant Farm Manager with daily operations of large broad acre cropping aggregation at our Kealandi location.

Our farms are located approximately 25 minutes to the north of Moree and 5 minutes to the south where we farm wheat, barley, cotton, sorghum, and chickpeas.
In your new role you will:
• Safely operate farm plant, equipment, vehicles, and machinery for the cropping programs.
• Keep records of sowing, fertilizer, spraying and machinery maintenance.
• Assist the Farm Management with annual maintenance and capital improvement programs.
• Work independently and as part of a team within Lawson guidelines and policies.
You will have:
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with good attention to detail, a strong work ethic and ability to follow process.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of farming operations, including record keeping.
• Drivers’ licence essential.
• A modern and diligent approach to WH&S.
• A passion for broad acre farming and having fun at work.
• Experienced in broad acre grain cropping production including the operation of all associated plant and machinery and chemical handling is a must.
• Formal qualifications or studying agriculture is desirable but not essential.
