We are excited to invite applications for the permanent full-time position of Grain Handler at our Transport and Grain Storage Depot located in Rand, NSW.
Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our bulk storage facility. The close nature of our team ensures everyone is well supported while high standards of safety and quality are maintained across our operations.
About You:
• Be reliable and organised with the ability to listen and learn, follow instructions and respect all WHS processes.
• Possess a positive attitude, self-motivation and initiative.
• Demonstrate pragmatic thinking with the ability to think outside the box to achieve practical outcomes and solutions.
About the role:
• Load and unload grain trucks into the silo and bunker complex.
• Weigh trucks and sample grain
• Ensure all visitors to the grain site are welcomed and enjoy a positive experience.
• Uphold all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and address hygiene issues to ensure the highest standards are met.
You will have:
• 2- 3 year’s experience in grain handling and sampling.
• A strong safety focus and proactive approach.
• A ‘can do’ attitude that aligns with our company culture.
• A current Driver’s Licence.
• Accommodation within the area is required due to long hours, but we’re happy to assist the right candidate.

Senior Farm Hand

- Excellent communication skills – with team, managers, and suppliers
- Leadership skills and a practical, process-driven approach
- Previous boom spray operation is highly desirable.

Assist the Farm Manager and Operations Manager with daily operations of a large broad acre cropping aggregation.

We are looking for graduates who can help us on our journey as Australia’s leading corporate farmer.
Lawson Grains is Australia’s leading corporate farmer, achieved through investment in people, environments, and best practice. This success is driven by a team of passionate individuals and stakeholders committed to the long-term future of the industry. We operate extensive land holdings exceeding 120,000 hectares across 11 aggregations throughout NSW and WA, offering exposure to a diverse range of soil types and farming techniques.
The strategic addition of Lawson Logistics, our transport and grains business, has added significant logistic and grain storage capabilities to our NSW portfolio. This provides opportunities for exposure to the end-to-end supply chain management of various agricultural commodities.
Our Aim
To provide university graduates with hands-on experience and professional development within Lawson Grains through a structured one-year program.
Are you eligible?
• Do you have a passion for agriculture and commitment to a long-term career in the industry?
• Are you in your final year or have recently completed studies at an accredited Australian University, studying a bachelor level or higher in Agriculture Science, Farm Management or Agribusiness?
• Are you an Australian Citizen or permanent resident?
• Do you hold a current driver’s licence?
• Are you available to commence the Graduate Program in January 2027 at our corporate office based in Albury?
